• Since its creation in 2002, the Habitat for Humanity of Grays Harbor affiliate has completed five homes in Aberdeen with a sixth house beginning construction soon. This house is being sponsored by the Grays Harbor Community Foundation and the Bishop Foundation.
• Congratulations to Harold Warren, Habitat for Humanity of Grays Harbor Treasurer, for being awarded two Points of Light Foundation awards for volunteer service to the community.
• Construction on our sixth house is to start at 317 East Curtis Street in South Aberdeen.
• Weyerhaeuser's Project Habitat
       To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the eruption of Mount St. Helens in May of 1980, Weyerhaeuser is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build homes and improve the communities where Weyerhaeuser employees live and work. Habitat for Humanity of Grays Harbor has been selected as one of 25 communities that will receive lumber packages from Weyerhaeuser for the Project Habitat build. Groundbreaking for the Project Habitat home will be held on October 1, 2005 at 10:00am. The property is located at 219 Baldwin Street in Aberdeen. We are excited to be partnering with Weyerhaeuser and grateful for their generous donation.
